GENERAL INFORMATION
VISA TO RUSSIA.
Depending on their nationality and passport category (see Conditions for entry and stay of foreign citizens in Russia), some foreign citizens and stateless persons require a visa to enter the Russian Federation.
To obtain a visa to the Republic of Senegal, a foreign citizen must contact the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Senegal. Russian consular offices issue visas depending on the purpose of the trip and the length of stay of the foreigner in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Depending on the visa category, the applicant must submit the relevant documents to the Consular Section (see Visa Documents).
A consular fee is charged for processing a visa (see Cost of Consular Services).
Attention! The consular fee is charged for the consideration of the applicant's visa file by the Consular Section and in no way serves as a guarantee of issuing a visa.
A visa is issued to the applicant if the Consular Section makes a positive decision to issue a visa based on the results of consideration of his/her file.
NB. The issue of issuing a visa is considered only after submitting a complete set of documents to the consular office.
The set of documents for obtaining a visa must be submitted in person by the applicant or his legal representative, based on a power of attorney.
After accepting the documents and paying the fee, the applicant receives a receipt indicating the date of readiness of the visa. The receipt must be presented to receive a visa.
If necessary, the Consular Section may appoint a separate day to conduct an additional interview with the applicant.
In case of receiving a visa, the applicant must check the correctness of the filling in of the relevant fields in the visa: last name, first name, dates of travel, passport number, date of birth, etc. and, if necessary, immediately return the visa for correction.
In case of refusal to issue a visa, the Consular Section reserves the right not to explain the reasons for the refusal to the applicant.
